Final spurt!

After 7 months of intensive construction work, the rough work on the new Streuböden lift is complete - it's time for the final finishing touches and the final spurt!

Over the last few weeks, all the gondolas have been delivered, finally assembled, placed on the rope and stored in the station. The first test rides on both sections have already been successfully completed. Watching the new gondolas float up to the Lärchfilzkogel for the first time was a sight that not only the contractors, but above all the entire cable car team and many locals and guests really enjoyed. It was an emotional milestone that increased anticipation for the approaching winter season and the first ride on the new lift!

At the Streuböden lift itself, settings and fine adjustments are currently being made to the cable car technology. The mechanical and electrical components are being put into operation and the entire system is being tested for operation.

In the valley, mid and mountain stations, it's time to get down to business: various interior fitting work (laying tiles, inserting windows, plumbing work, etc.) is being carried out so that the cellar rooms, toilets and staff rooms can also be finalized soon. The outdoor areas are humified and the final paths are defined. In the course of the new construction of the Streuböden lift, the forecourt of the cash desk in particular is given a new look: paved areas, a new wooden bridge and a pioneering, generous wall towards the new Streuböden lift create a modern, inviting character.

Parallel to the focus on the new lift, regular preparations for winter operations are already underway in the background. The maintenance work on the other lifts has been completed. All snow cannons are currently being covered, the mobile cannons placed and everything prepared for snowmaking so that snowmaking can begin as soon as temperatures allow.

The team at Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn is currently doing its best to ensure that nothing stands in the way of the start of winter in just over a month's time!
