Route info & offer in the construction summer

Despite the construction of the new Streuböden lift, Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn, in collaboration with the PillerseeTal tourism association, will continue to offer guests and locals a range of cool experiences on the mountain in summer 2024! The focus is on the Timok´s Wild World family & leisure park at the Streuböden mid-station, which is open daily until 27 October. In addition to the summer toboggan run, there are fun attractions such as a forest ropes course, climbing park and water games.

As the cable cars are not in operation, you can currently reach the park on foot or by bike. Especially and only for this summer, the Schweinestberg hiking & biking route has been opened. This direct and fastest route leads from the parking lots at the valley station to the Streuböden mid-station and is free of construction traffic! It is also possible to take hiking trail 8 Wald- & Wurzelweg from the valley station. Trails 1+711 Brendt or 1+711+7 Zillstatt lead from the valley station past the Lauchsee to Timok's Wild World.

Hiking options:

  • 1+Schweinestberg (approx. 1h)
  • 1+711 Brendt (approx. 1.5 h)
  • 1+711+7 Zillstatt (approx. 1.5 h)
  • 8 via Ferschlstadl

Biking possibilities:

  • via Schweinestberg
  • via Zillstatt
  • With these two bike routes you can also reach the Schweinestberg Trails I+II. These are also open in summer 2024!

In the period from 28 June to 8 September, you can also take advantage of a bus shuttle service from the valley station to the Streuböden / Timok´s Wild World mid-station. The buses run according to a fixed timetable and tickets are available on the day at the cable car ticket office at the valley station. However, due to the limited capacity, transportation cannot be guaranteed and the "first come first serve" principle applies. You can find all information about the shuttle HERE.

From Timok´s Wild World in the direction of Wildalpgatterl / Wildseeloder, you pass the mid-station construction site on a specially created alternative route for bikers and hikers. Once you arrive at the Wildalpgatterl, you will be guided towards Wildalm / Wildseeloder via trail no. 12 Jägersteig passing the Lärchfilzhochalm. Trail section 711 Kühweital from Wildalpgatterl to Wildalm is currently closed due to roadworks.

As you can see, there is a lot possible and on offer around the Wildseeloder also this year. Despite all our efforts, however, it is unavoidable that attractions will have to be temporarily closed due to construction work and that routes will have to be diverted or closed (711 Kühweital, Alpgraben route, 8a Streuböden route). We thank you in advance for your understanding in this "special" summer!
