Things are moving forward!

The construction of the new Streuböden cable car is still on schedule in mid-September: most of the cable car technology in the stations has been installed and the external appearance of the cable car is taking shape. For example, the wooden shingles on the façade of the mountain station have already been installed, giving the station a modern and high-quality, but at the same time traditional, restrained and natural design, as can be seen in the pictures.

One of the most important components of the new building - the rope - was the focus of attention this week. The 2 ropes (1 rope for 1 section) were delivered and installed. The splicing work is now underway to connect the respective rope ends together. The current onset of winter has not stopped the work on the rope and the team is continuing to work intensively on the rope hoist for the 2nd section despite the fresh snow.

Since this week, the new gondolas have also been delivered semitrailer truck by semitrailer truck and stored temporarily. Despite being well covered, the size of the individual gondolas and the associated progress and comfort can already be seen very clearly.

With the current onset of winter, the anticipation for the start of the winter season and the first ride on the new Streuböden cable car is also increasing - it is becoming increasingly clear what a milestone and quantum leap this new lift will be for Fieberbrunn!
