Construction update: What's new?

Construction of the Streubödenbahn continues to progress according to plan. Most of the concrete work at the stations has been completed and the gondola garage at the middle station has also been concreted. This week, the supports for the second section were fully assembled so that the material ropeway from Zillstatt to the mountain station can be dismantled by the end of the week.

Last week was the start of the timber construction work, which is progressing rapidly at both the valley and mountain stations. As a result, the buildings are increasingly taking on their final shape, which already gives a good indication of their future appearance.

Another important milestone was reached this week: Doppelmayr started installing the cable car technology at the mountain station. The Doppelmayr cable car tube is to be installed next week, making the station appear almost finished from the outside. This work is due to start at the valley station at the beginning of August and at the middle station in mid-August.
