How are things going at the moment?

Work on the new Streuböden lift is progressing quickly and according to plan. Immediately after the end of the season on April 1, 2024, work began on dismantling the old lifts and preparing them for onward transport. The cable car technology was carefully removed as the two sections were sold and rebuilt elsewhere.

Once the cable car technology had been removed, work immediately began on demolishing the station buildings. The valley and mid-station buildings have already been completely removed. The demolition work on the mountain station is in full swing and will soon be completed despite the intense onset of winter in mid-April. The old supports on the track are currently being dismantled.

The first concrete work is currently being carried out on the foundations at the bottom station, and the support foundations are also being excavated and concreted on the route of the 1st section.

Excavation work for the underground gondola station is already underway at the Streuböden mid-station. Once completed, the station will no longer be visible and will blend in with the landscape.

As you can see: things are happening! The cable car team is working intensively with the project partners on all aspects of the project and is looking forward to the next construction steps. We will keep you up to date!
