It's done!

After a construction phase of just 8 months, the official acceptance of the new 10-seater Streuböden cable car took place on 5 December 2024. The Federal Ministry BMK granted the positive operating permit - the new Streuböden cable car will start its winter season on 7 December. 

The management of Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn is proud: ‘On the one hand, it is pleasing that all construction phases of this historic structure were completed on time and, on the other hand, that the construction work was completed without any accidents or incidents. A total of around 30 companies were involved in the construction of the new railway, with the majority of the companies commissioned coming from the region. We would like to thank all project partners for the smooth cooperation and all employees for their enormous commitment and willingness to work overtime.’
