The working day of a piste rescuer starts at 7.15 am. In the morning, the main task is to first check the pistes & piste markings. During the operating hours of the ski area, they are responsible for rescuing skiers who have accidents and for other control runs after being alerted. The break relief of the lift personnel is also on the agenda of the piste rescuers. At the end of each ski day, a final control run is carried out to ensure that no guest is left on the mountain and the preparation work can begin. The piste rescuers also work for 4 days and have 2 days off. Piste rescuers experience what is happening in the ski area at first hand. Helping is the top priority in this job and at the same time the special appeal of the job.
